About Our Staff and Home Tutors
All of our tutors are carefully screened and interviewed, including thorough reference checks. Our tutors have excellent qualifications. Many are B.C. certified teachers who tutor all subjects from K-12.
We also have tutors with degrees and masters in English, science, (including tutors for physics, chemistry and biology), math, the social sciences, and tutors for foreign languages, including French, Spanish and Mandarin.

About the Director
Angela was born and raised in Montreal and beneficially was able to attend a respected private girls’ school. She was fortunate that her educational experience was very positive. After graduating, she attended the University of Western Ontario where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics in 1988. Her career has taken her across Canada; initially working in the banking sector in Toronto and later moving to Vancouver where she worked at the West Ender Community Newspaper.
Entrepreneurial at heart, she then decided to purchase a health food delivery service that became a thriving success. After selling this business she decided to build on her experiences of teaching English in Japan by obtaining her TESOL diploma from UBC. After three years of private tutoring in West Vancouver she started PD Plus in the fall of 2003 and continues to enjoy working within this specific area of education; helping others to improve their educational and life experiences.
About the Assistant Director
Trinity is from Vancouver. She has her Diploma in Life Skills Coaching/Counseling (L.S.T.C.) and recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Emily Carr University). She was a counselor, educator and administrator for years in her own business, within the K-12 system and as the Coast-Metro Region's Coordinator for the Aboriginal Education Branch, Ministry of Education, (11 school districts in the GVRD). She is currently a practicing artist, business and personal coach, First Nations Art Instructor with the Surrey Art Gallery/Surrey School District plus she is our part-time Assistant Director.
