Thank you for your interest in being a tutor with PD Plus. PD Plus is a BC owned and operated company that has students for ESL, school support (socials, English, math, physics, chemistry, etc.) and languages (mostly French); you will be considered for students depending upon your qualifications.

Tutors for school subjects are from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Applicants with their Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science, and/or English Degree are in great demand; tutors for math, physics and chemistry need to have their Bachelor of Science.
Our students are located all over the Lower Mainland but mostly in Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, Surrey and Burnaby; all tutoring is done in their homes and you will be considered for students near where you live or work.
We are looking for tutors who are capable, supportive, encouraging, enthusiastic and sincere. Many of the students that come to PD Plus are feeling discouraged from their school experiences and we pride ourselves on providing tutors who are going to assist them in feeling happy and successful.
Hours:
Hours generally range from 4.00 pm. until 9.00 pm. Monday to Friday, and weekends if you are available. Lessons will range from one hour to two hours in length (most are 1 1/2). Students study anywhere from one to three times per week and contracts are usually on-going. PD Plus requires a six-month commitment from the tutor for each student assigned as we want to have as little disruption as possible to the student.
Payment:
$21.00/hour for all lessons K-12; $18.00/hour for adult conversation.
